“Paintings draw inspiration from nature, observing the beauty found at play in animals, plants and stone, throughout diverse landscapes.” This article details about how landscape paintings can often draw inspiration from nature.

Inspiration For Paintings

While landscape painting may have been popular in the recent past, it has found a way back into fashion. Landscape painters are prone to finding inspiration from different sources. Much of their inspiration comes from architecture and also from looking at geology on his or her walks in nature.

Images Of Landscapes Through The Years

Inevitably, landscape painting will evolve as time goes on. This may result in changes to the type of images seen by the public that they engage with. Blogs and magazines have given out different takes of this as well as video game systems.

Shared perceptions depict the movement from sublime scenes to more modern post-modern meets futuristic styles.

How to paint landscapes as an inspiration

One of the easiest ways to start painting landscapes is with photographs. If you want to be inspired, try looking at some landscapes that you like and see what it would take for you to paint them in a different style or medium.

Benefits of landscapes and landscapes as art

Landscape painting has undergone a long journey as an art form that originated to set the scene in 18th-century theatrical productions. It became popular again in Europe during the Romantic era when painting landscapes was a favorite subject of many artists. Early American artists such as Frazee and Cole created something different—making landscapes into art.

Common mistakes in landscapes paintings

[points out common mistakes in landscape painting such as incorrect perspective, overlooking the sky. Isn’t wrong shape the sky. What’s with the paintbrush strokes? The list goes on and on.]

Conclusion

The world has changed dramatically over the last few years, and this is also true of landscape painting.

Google basic facts:

Quotes have been an important part of the creative process for centuries. From ancient advice from Socrates to modern-day comic book superheroes, quotes for artists have been a source of inspiration, motivation and encouragement. As a writer, I personally find quotes to be helpful in the writing process as well – they can stimulate new ideas or offer insight into a topic that I might not have considered.

1. You get up in the morning, you gotta work

“You get up in the morning, you gotta work, you go to bed at night and you don’t know what’s going on”

2. If I have an idea, I can just do it

3. It’s not where I am. It’s who I’m with

4. You reap what you sow

5. There are no limitations

6. Life is a day-to-day process of learning about and accepting things that happen to you

7. Be good, man

2. All the reward I need is to be a useful citizen of the Earth

“All the reward I need is to be a useful citizen of the Earth” -John Steinbeck

“There are always mountains beyond mountains.” -Ansel Adams

A creative person wants to do something that somebody, somewhere doesn’t want done. This is what gets them out of bed in the morning. The energy and frustration they feel when they can’t do it drives them nuts and leads them to think up new ways to do it. It’s not that they’re so great; it’s just that everybody else is too scared.

3. I’m not painting for an abstract idea or for a type of person

Abstract art is about the personal vision of the artist and that person’s idea. This can make it difficult for people who have never been an artist to understand and appreciate it. I am painting for myself not for an abstract idea or a type of person.

4. The reason we paint is to give ourselves what is missing from our lives

“The reason we paint is to give ourselves what is missing from our lives.” This quote by Federico García Lorca illustrates the inherent need that all people have for creativity. Art is a way of obtaining and expressing emotion, which also satisfies a deep-rooted desire to connect with others.

5. When you are thirty, all your friends are gone saying they will come back

This is not true. When you are thirty, all your friends are no longer waiting for you to come back; they are out there doing things, and so should you.

6. As soon as you’re working on something and

6. As soon as you’re working on something and it’s not coming together, quit. I don’t care if you’ve spent a week on the thing, paint five minutes of it, write ten pages of it, do whatever you have to do to get out of that rut. If you’re hitting a wall, stop hitting it and start over again with new material. -Frank J. O’Hara

Drawing the human head is a skill that takes time and practice to perfect. Check out these tips for drawing people from a professional artist to see if you can create lifelike, beautiful portraits in your own drawings.

Step by step tutorial

This tutorial breaks down the human head into 6 simple steps that are easy to follow and understand.

The 5 steps are as follows:

1) start with a circle

2) pull section A away from the circle on both sides

3) draw a line from point B to point F on both sides of the head

4) Draw an oval for the eye socket, about 2 inches across and 1 inch down from point C and D

5) Draw a line from Point E back to Point F on both sides of the head, this will divide the head in half. The first side of the line should be straight while the second side has a curved top. This creates 2 shapes- one is

Tools Needed

A pencil, a paper, an eraser, and a drawing board.

Drawing The Body

We know how to draw the human head as a ball, so what’s next? Well, we want to draw the body. How do you draw something that is not in front of us that we can’t see? As long as it has some dimension and is not flat, you can use whatever materials are available to help make your drawing. To get started with this step, find whatever object you are using (a pencil or crayon will work) and trace it on a sheet of paper.

Start by drawing a box just below the jawline. The size of the box should be proportional to the size of your frame. This will help when adding guidelines for your shoulders and arms in steps five and six.

The next step is

Important Things to Remember

There are so many things to remember when drawing a head. You need to know how to draw hair, facial features, and proportions. In this blog post, I’ll go over everything you need to know about drawing a head.

The art world is full of information, knowledge and inspiration. So, if you want to become an art expert, what’s the best way to do so? There are many ways to get started with learning about art, including taking classes in your local community or museum, reading books on the subject or even using the internet. However you decide to take this journey, it will be an interesting one!

Become an Art Expert

To become an art expert, first you need to study art history. You can start by taking a course in the subject at your local college or university. You’ll also want to educate yourself about the different styles that have existed in different eras. If you’re going to be appraising art, you’ll need to learn how to do so properly. This includes learning about authenticity and value as well as how to determine condition and date of execution.

How to Learn About Art

I’d suggest looking at art history books, or branching out and reading about artists who are in your favorite medium. There are many museums that have free days for visitors, so try to find one near you. Online lectures can be found as well on various topics related to art. You can also check YouTube for videos from beginner-level tutorials to more advanced ones.

Tips for Learning About Art

If you are interested in learning more about art and becoming an expert, there are a few ways to get started. One of the simplest is to read a book. There are many different types of books that will be helpful for beginners, from art history texts to how-to guides. There is also plenty of information available online about art. If you need help evaluating what you find, reach out to other experts by joining forums or attending lectures and exhibitions.

Where to Find Art Information

When trying to learn about art, the internet is a valuable resource. Websites like Wikipedia offer an overview of religions and cultures that influence art history. Another great resource is Google Arts & Culture because it offers in-depth information about famous artists. Art blogs are another great place to find information.

Collecting and Storing Art

One of the best ways to become an expert in art collecting is to start by developing a passion for collecting it and then taking the time to learn about your favourite artists and movements. With that knowledge, you can build your collection. Start by identifying what you like and then find out where to find it in auctions, galleries, or private sales. Good places to start looking are lower-end galleries and auction houses.

Collecting art is not an easy process, yet it can be a lot of fun when done right. It can also be a good way to grow your wealth if you take care of yourself as well as your pieces.

Conclusion

This post covered the most common styles of artwork, as well as advice for people who want to learn more about art. In this article, we’ve discussed the basics and some fun facts about art. Hopefully you’ve learned something that you didn’t know before!

Having an art collection can be a wonderful way to decorate your home and add beauty and personality to your spaces. It also provides the opportunity for you to grow as a collector, which can make for some exciting discoveries along the way that you may never have come across otherwise!

Why Collect Art?

There are many reasons why people decide to collect art. Some people collect art to enjoy and others do so as a form of investment. There is no right or wrong reason to start a collection, but it’s important to know the hows and whys of collecting before you make any major purchases.

Reasons to Start an Art Collection

Collecting art is a great hobby and can be quite lucrative. The key to starting your collection is to choose pieces that you love and that fit with your personal tastes. You also want to make sure that the art you buy is of high quality, whether it’s new or old. Try visiting your local museum, as well as resale shops, in order to find pieces at a range of prices.

Where To Get The Best Pieces For Your Collection

You don’t have to be a wealthy individual or retiree to start an art collection. Those who collect art on a smaller scale may want to consider consignment or thrift stores, rental galleries, or even online auction sites for their purchases.

How To Start An Art Collection

One of the most important things to do is to develop a personal taste. To do this, you should look at as many different styles of art as possible. When you develop your taste, you’ll have a better idea of what you like and what you don’t. You’ll also be able to tell the difference between cheap knock offs and high-quality artwork. After developing your taste, start building a collection that reflects it.

Conclusion

The main reason to start an art collection is personal satisfaction. You will find pleasure in viewing (and often caring for) your own collection, which is priceless. Plus, if you’re successful and want to sell your collection one day, the market is always hungry for art.

To get started with portrait painting all you need is your materials, an idea of how you want it look, some confidence and some practice. While there are some very specific elements involved in portraiture, like likeness and texture, they’re also simplified by using shapes and values. Using simple methods and skills like shading, focusing on certain features and exaggerating certain elements can make your portrait painting stand out. If you can draw stick figures, then chances are that you can do a portrait painting – if only for yourself!

There are many benefits to digital painting.

How to paint digitally

The basics of digital painting are straightforward: digitally paint something by drawing lines or shapes on a computer. The resulting work is saved as a digital image file that can be printed, edited and resized at will. Even if you’re not interested in creating your own artwork, learning about digital painting is an excellent way to gain insight into how computers work. This tutorial will give you some basic instruction on how to draw in software like Adobe Photoshop and Painter 2022.

Digital artwork examples

Some people use a tablet/stylus to draw on their computer monitor, but you can also do it with your finger if you don’t have one. If using a mouse or touchpad, make sure to disable your ‘mouse acceleration’ feature (in Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 open Control Panel > Mouse). This will reduce jittery lines, keeping your line weight consistent throughout a piece. Try setting ‘Double-click speed’ very low (1ms). This will ensure that no matter how fast you move your cursor, nothing happens until you click twice.

Still life painting is all about composition

The way things are laid out on a canvas adds depth and interest, creates visual tension and balance, or illuminates or disguises form. The arrangement of objects on a canvas is one of many methods for creating visual tension. When you’re setting up your composition, you should always try and put more than one focal point in your picture. Without multiple points of focus, it’s harder for viewers to feel engaged with your work.

When painting a still life, you can learn a lot from traditional approaches. As with most artistic pursuits, it’s easier to break rules if you know what they are first. Study master paintings of everyday objects by artists like Robert Henri and John Singer Sargent before experimenting with your own style. Then try breaking one rule at a time; for example, place fruit in an unorthodox location or use an unexpected color scheme.

Your still life paintings don’t have to be perfect

For most artists, it’s easy to get caught up in our own self-criticism, especially when we’re just starting out. Learning how to start a new business from conception to execution. Before you begin painting, just know that there are no perfect still life paintings. A still life doesn’t have to be perfect—only personal! Don’t get discouraged if your first few pieces don’t turn out exactly as planned.

Still life painting is a great starting point for aspiring artists, allowing you to practice shading and perspective in a form that’s relatively easy and inexpensive. You can learn how to paint still life while on vacation, while staying at home, or while traveling abroad. Wherever you go and whatever you like, you can find inspiration. Even if you decide that still life painting isn’t your cup of tea after all, you’ll have already learned valuable skills that will help in any other artistic endeavor.

Still lifes are a great way to focus on one thing – a technique, color, or subject matter. A still life is also a great way to practice with your materials and see progress from painting session to painting session.

Think outside the box

If you want to work outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself as an artist, it’s best to start small. Why not try a still life? Still lifes are some of the oldest forms of art in existence, used by painters such as Monet and van Gogh. While people often think of still lifes as outdated, they can actually be one of your most powerful tools for growth. Here are ten reasons why you should consider starting with still life

STILL LIFE PAINTING

Still life paintings are exercises in patience, planning and technical skill. You’ll get better at painting objects (and backgrounds) if you focus on still life, because those same skills will help you when it comes time to paint landscapes or portraits. After mastering still life painting, you’ll move on to other subjects with confidence. That’s an added benefit: Like a musician who studies theory and exercises their ear, mastering still life painting will make you a better artist overall.

Abstract painting rose with cubism

Abstract art wasn’t always called abstract art. It got its name from an avant-garde art show in Paris in 1911, where artists including Pablo Picasso and Wassily Kandinsky displayed their work. Picasso is considered a founding father of abstract painting; he helped develop cubism, an early type of abstract artwork that used jagged lines and geometric shapes to represent three-dimensional figures on a two-dimensional canvas.

Though abstract art has been around for thousands of years, it wasn’t until 1910 that two artists, Albert Gleizes and Jean Metzinger coined the term L’art Abstrait. The term was created by combining two existing words: abstrait, which translates to English as concrete, and artiste, which means artist.

They challenged artists to focus on self-expression and emotional freedom. The following are some notable members of informalism: Otto Piene, Joan Miro, Jean Dubuffet, Kurt Schwitters, Antoni Tàpies and Yves Klein. Because of its heavy reliance on a sense of spontaneity in creation and exhibition, Klein’s movement eventually became known as action painting.

A movement centered on uninhibited brushwork and emotion. Although abstract painters use many different techniques, they all share a common goal—to portray feeling through color, line and shape. In our latest infographic, we’re taking a look at 10 of those techniques and how they’re used in modern art: from Synchronism to Zentangles, these are things you didn’t know about abstract art. Today there are many modern abstract artists who work in different mediums. painting, drawing, sculpture and performance art.

As an art form, graphite pencil drawing has been around since the 17th century, but it’s far from dead in the 21st century. In fact, over the past few years, this type of drawing has seen a resurgence in popularity among fine artists and casual doodlers alike. Artists love how easy it is to get great results with pencils, especially compared to charcoal or ink drawing methods that can be trickier to master.

How To Create A Graphite Fine Art Drawings At Home?

Perhaps one of best things about working with graphite is that it is a relatively easy material to work with in many ways. You can create drawings and sketches in your spare time without an expensive collection of specialized materials or a studio at home. The key to successful creation of graphite art comes from learning how to handle your graphite well and using techniques that complement its natural properties.

What is graphite made from?

Pencil leads are not made from graphite, but from a more solid form of carbon, called powdered graphite. In order to transform powdered graphite into lead pencils, it is mixed with a bonding agent such as clay and wax. The mixture is heated and rolled out into thin sheets. These sheets are then cut and ground down to achieve different grades of lead hardness.

How To Advance?

Advance your drawings with a few simple tips. Graphite is a great medium for drawing and sketching, offering a range of styles and results, depending on how you choose to work it. When working with graphite, remember that there are three things that can help you to produce fine art drawings like those by Van Gogh or Picasso:
1) picking up good supplies
2) developing your skills in traditional drawing methods as well as your own unique style and
3) knowing when to stop…in other words- having confidence and perseverance.

There’s nothing quite like having fun!

However, once you master your medium, painting with watercolors will provide an easy way to add color and artistic value to any home.
After all, there are endless colors to choose from and choosing can be overwhelming. That’s why we recommend starting out with simple colors—like blues and yellows—that will look great in any room. Also, keep your paintings simple: The idea is to practice using watercolors rather than trying to create a masterpiece on your first try. So don’t worry about attempting a complex painting; instead opt for something simple like a still life or portrait, which will allow you time to get used to working with watercolors without having to stress too much about making it perfect right away.

What to buy when starting out

The only basic tool you need to paint with watercolors is a brush. However, if you want to ensure clean lines when painting and make sure your paint mixes well, having a set of palette knives can be very helpful. For beginners, it’s probably best to stick with synthetic brushes; they’re less expensive than their natural counterparts and easier to handle. More importantly, they’re also washable—ideal for conserving your colors and keeping them usable for as long as possible.

How many brushes do you need?

When beginning to paint with watercolors, most students purchase a set containing an assortment of brushes. And while it’s true that all watercolor artists eventually need every type of brush in their kit, there are two basic brushes you’ll use for 90% or more of your work. The first is a round-tipped brush, which is used for detail and to blend colors together. The second is a larger flat brush that can be used for broader strokes and filling in shapes. If you opt for a starter set with many different types of brushes (and these kits often contain high-quality items), you may want to include those as well.

Tips for mixing paints

Instead of purchasing premixed sets of watercolors, it’s a good idea to mix your own custom color palette. To create your palette, choose one yellow, one red and one blue paint. Then you can use any combination of those three colors to mix any shade you want. Because primary colors work well together in a mixing bowl—even when they are used individually—watercolors are easier to mix than other forms of art like oil painting or acrylic painting.

What is watercolor paper?

When you’re working with watercolors, you need something to paint on that can handle getting wet. Typically, watercolor paper (also known as hot-pressed paper) is your best bet for strong color retention. In fact, some varieties of paper can hold up in water for hours without smudging or blurring! While not all watercolor papers are equal, what matters most is how well it works with your chosen type of paint. As a general rule, try to match up paints and papers from manufacturers that have been around awhile so you know they’ve perfected their craft.

How do I set up my palette?

The colors you’ll use for your watercolors should be very pigmented and vibrant, so when setting up your palette, it’s a good idea to have relatively light colors on one side. You don’t want any colors that are overly dark or that have too much transparency. On another side of your palette, place some fairly light colors and some mid-tone colors. This will allow you to achieve both light and dark values with ease while also providing an assortment of reds, yellows, oranges, greens and blues. Don’t forget to add in your neutrals as well!

One of the most unique features of watercolor painting is the way colors mix together as you apply them to your paper or canvas. Watercolors add such vibrance and creativity to your paintings, and choosing the right colors will help you capture exactly the mood you want in your artwork. Use these tips on how to paint with watercolor to get started today!

What is the definition of classical art?

While there are many styles of art, including Contemporary, Abstract and Post-Impressionist, the term classical art refers to works of art dating from the Greco-Roman period up to the 18th century AD. In other words, Classical Art encompasses the major artistic periods in Western culture, including Greek and Roman sculpture and painting as well as Renaissance painting. To determine if something is classical art or not, you should focus on how it was created rather than on its specific style or subject matter.

Defining Classical Art

Classical Art

It’s not always easy to define what makes something classical, but one thing you can do is look at its history.
The works that came out of ancient Greece and Rome—including sculptures, paintings and architecture—are considered classical works. However, throughout time there has been some disagreement about which artists are counted among those ranks. In many cases, style was a defining factor; for example, although Michelangelo’s David could be seen as a breakthrough in realism and emotional detail by today’s standards, his style was considered classical during his lifetime because it looked back to classical Roman sculpture. In a nutshell, classical art is made up of sculptures and paintings that are mainly focused on depicting realistic images. It’s also known as formalism.

Ancient Greek Sculpture

The history of ancient Greek sculpture is divided into three periods: Archaic (c. 650–480 BC), Classic (c. 480–323 BC), and Hellenistic (323–31 BC). The Archaic period is generally considered to have lasted from approximately 650 to 485 BC, when [proto-]Doric architecture was developed and there was increasing prosperity in Greece.

Renaissance Sculpture

In contrast to classical sculpture, figures in Renaissance sculptures are presented in realistic and nuanced poses. With a greater focus on capturing movement and action than simply representing their subjects, early Renaissance artists made use of newly-developed technologies like bronze casting (which allowed for a greater degree of refinement) and linear perspective (which gave figures more dimensionality). As well, most Renaissance sculptors sought to capture human emotions in their work, as shown by Michelangelo’s David—an iconic sculpture that captures both vigor and grace. By combining these elements with newfound attention to light sources, early Renaissance sculptors were able to begin ushering in an era of expressionism while still using classical techniques.

Classical paintings

Classical painting by Sergey Dronov

People often confuse classical with something that references Ancient Greece or Rome, but Classical art actually has a broader meaning. In general, it refers to anything made before about World War I, but there are several important movements within that timeframe worth noting as well. Some of them had very different ideas than artists today about what constitutes good art; for example, some classicists hated abstraction and even went so far as to destroy paintings they thought were too abstract (more on these conflicts in a bit). Before we talk about specific classicist movements, let’s first take a look at what defines classical works of all types.

Q: Do you distinguish between an artist and a person?

A: Yes and no. When you look at the artist’s works in his absence, there is a certain opinion about his work. If it is interesting and exciting, then you create an image of the author involuntarily in your consciousness, akin to his creativity. But, if you see an arrogant and in many respects, a negative person, you begin to believe that creativity can be insincere. Therefore, you have to evaluate his work separately from the author.

Q: Do you do anything other than painting? How did this activity affect your work?

Yes, I am engaged in graphics, sculpture, large-scale painting, and majolica. Sometimes it is useful to leave painting for a short time and, let’s say, do a relief or a monotype. There are times when you need to pause to comprehend what you are writing, whether you are standing still. This pause can give impetus to new solutions and new plastic.

Q: Has the country in which you lived left a trace in your work?

Oh sure. After all, I by nature as a European also lived in the east country and, unlike native inhabitants, I saw the east as. My work is a synthesis of two worlds. It’s like mixing the blood of the Eastern and the European, and in this case, beautiful children turn out.

Q: What do you write more? Still-life, landscapes or plot pictures?

I am interested in everything. After all, when you write some still lifes, you will get fatigued, so I want to take up the plot or landscape, as one complements the other.

Q: Do you have favorite themes for genre paintings?

Unfortunately, no. I want to write different topics to light up a new story, color, composition. There are artists who all their lives write pictures on the same topic, say, rural, and live it, and do not get tired, because it is given to them from above, and I welcome it.

Q: What do you think? Will beauty save the world?

It seems to me that he is too rational and material, and he is least interested in beauty. Although I think, a certain part, I hope, can save a certain amount.

Q: What does creativity give you in life?

A life!

Q: What do you expect from your viewer?

Understand my creativity, do not flatter.

Q: How do you see the world as an artist?

“Does my work not speak for itself?” I see a world saved by beauty.

Q: Can the creativity of the artist change the consciousness of a person?

Yes, maybe it’s for creativity. I think its main task is to change the consciousness of a person, to see the world through the eyes of an artist. If he is talented, then he can influence the mind of the viewer.

Q: What would you say to your child about becoming an artist?

I would say that this is a very difficult path, but it is very interesting.

Q: Is it easy to part with the creations that you acquire?

Can one answer the question with a question? Is it easy to part with a child?

Q: Do you feel excitement at the opening of your exhibition?

Of course. Always, like the first time. Just like an actor, going on stage. After all, personal exhibitions do not happen every week or every month. It takes time to prepare and, therefore, you get to have some certain experiences. After all, you do not know how the viewer will react to new works.

Q: What is the reason for your creativity?

Creativity is a necessity, if you want, dependence. And the occasion gives life itself and its influence on creativity.

Q: Who is a real artist?

This is someone who knows how to touch the most secret strings of a person’s soul, make him think, experience, breathe the air of a picture, enter it and dissolve into it.

“Poetic Justice” the picture is complex, rather complicated. The abundance of symbolic details makes it difficult to understand the concept of the artist. A painting shows the futility of trying to dissect poetry. The artist Samson Gabriel protests against mechanical Evaluation of Art.

In the twenties of the last century, revolutionary art collapsed in its pursuit of everything subordinate soulless to the constructiveness.

Like most of his paintings are written in a low-key, noble gray-pearl gamut, a clear drawing of even the smallest details.

The most imaginative work is “Religious freedom”. The idea of the picture is an eternal national theme from the time of the Egyptian captivity and the Sinai revelation until the creation of the Jewish state. A classic drawing is an ornament of a painting, but her soul is philosophical idea of freedom of thought, inner freedom, born of deep faith.

A dramatic biblical story about Sodom and Gomorrah received the artist’s modern interpretation. Interest in the ancient history and norms of Jewish morality and morality was awakened by the artist in his early childhood in the bosom of the family.

Hilly countryside of Tushia, fields, forests, and full-flowing rivers of the Moscow region perfectly connected in two medieval towns of the Chiminsky mountains, was once inhabited by the Etruscans, Romans, Goths, Longobards, Franks, and Normans.

Ercole Ercoli lives and works in Vallerano, where he was born. Sergey Dronov lives and works in Vinanello, where he moved from Moscow. Only a few miles of picturesque lands are separated from each other. As pleasing to the eye are olive groves, vineyards, chestnut, and walnut trees, which carry the life juices and richness of this unique land.

Colleagues-painters met in this wonderful province, between Rome and Viterbo, whose unique landscape emphasizes the beauty and rigor of historical and architectural monuments; palaces and gardens. The artists are fond of nature surrounding them: copses, groves, forests, lakes, springs, and rivers of this generous land inhabited by proud and hardworking inhabitants. Thanks to the cultural association “L’Albatros,” the acquaintance of the two artists began with participation in such important exhibitions as “Leo Tolstoy,” “European Union,” “Under the Sky of Italy,” “Divine Comedy of Dante,” as well as in other Roman exhibitions that were held in the library “Vallechileano” and the Russian Center for Science and Culture.

They confront each other with the themes of depicting reality, feelings, and poetry, but respecting the cultural substratum of each, without infecting each other with their creative influence.

Awareness of the quality of this substrate is expressed in an increased appreciation of the pictorial language and visual content.

If E. Ercoli immerses in her work in plant forms, both in still lives and in the landscapes of her Native Land, which received inspiration from the style of neo-impressionism, S. Dronov builds relations between his academic formation in Moscow, his homeland, and classical insights dissolved in modern post-surrealism.

Between these two artists, there was a kind of creative dialogue, which is not a competition, but a kind of stimulus in the desire to do something better within the framework of their commonwealth. Moreover, the results are obvious.

Today, these two artists, born in contexts and cultures so remote from each other, claim to be known and appreciated by the wider public not only in Europe, but also throughout the world. The cultural association “L’Albatros” strives to accompany and support these artists on the path of their creative growth and to provide them with all possible assistance in preparing for their personal exhibitions in Italy, Russia, and the United States of America.

Julia Weyss, what are you working on now? What are your plans for the future?

Wondering about the painting on my new unfinished canvas of the ocean view, I think to myself what will this mean? Of course many painters would say you must paint what you know will happen at the end. But do I? No, for I’m ever planning anything. Planning may be incomprehensible or impossible to me–especially for anything creative. What shape am I trying to build? Too many thoughts come together and scatter quickly, so how can it all make sense if I need order? It has not yet shown itself here before my eyes–however waiting is not always easy nor very rewarding.
Many months have passed since coming here–nothing meaningful or inspiring has happened with no success. Yet there still remains something…

Can you lose interest in creativity?

Your family and friends are in no way connected with art, as you are to did they come to this? How do they now relate to what you are doing?

I think I was born with the need to create. Since childhood I’ve loved the phenomena of the physical world collectively,

including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features of this world.

Nature and animals remained alone with itself and with its world. Routine and monotony always depressed me.

At the age of 26, I have decided to seriously tackle creativity.

At age 27 I entered the Art and Graphic Department in State University studying painting and graphic design.

The first years of my life were very much supported by my mother. When I wrote with watercolor, she brought me flowers,

beautiful glass, and ceramic vessels. Such moments are very valuable and will always be remembered forever.

Memories like these cause a a feeling of joy to the quality of being thankful.

My Dad was always proud of me. My Brother supports and believes in me, and for my sister, she believes that there is nothing more beautiful than my paintings.

Of course, my husband Viktor Weyss played a big role. We met for the first time during my senior year in college.

At that time he had been an accomplished artist, with great experience not only in painting, but also

in graphics, sculpting, and temple painting. After graduation, he became my mentor and like-minded person.

My daughter Margarita was a perfect example.

They all, in fact, were all involved and play a major role in my artwork.

Which artist can you call your teachers?

In fact, for me, all artists are teachers. Starting with artists that made cave rock art and ending with the living now.

Of course, these are poets, writers, composers and directors.

You can also learn a lot from children.

What do you do besides creative work?

I teach fine arts to children at an art school.

Since I am a family woman, I cook. But from this, I come up with many creative ideas.

I try the recipes of different cuisines of the world. I also come up with my own.

But of course, when you cook bread and mix it, several times you knead it and

bake, it’s akin to the creative process. When you take the bread out of oven,

it smells and crackles in your hands. That’s the real happiness.

The artist Ercole Ercoli has a deep understanding of nature and applies classic elements to his paintings. He blends colors beautifully, never adding too much or too little.

His genius is shown when he displays mastery over the painting technique. The artist goes days without interruption when he has something to say through art.

Leaving canvases untouched for later use adds an element of mystery and intrigue about what he will paint next. A collector once said that one could feel excitement when they entered into his studio because there was always something new to see.

Ercole spends most of his time in the studio, but leaves some unfinished work for him to continue tomorrow. Visitors come from all over to see him and buy what he has made. He has been known to produce an assortment of fine artwork that is valued by many people.

Biography

Julia Weyss — is an artist who has recently become engaged in creativity.

She is still in search of style, manners, and technique, gradually coming to understand what she wants to express in her art.

At the moment, she chooses oil painting that which she is most familiar with. In the graphics she applies a watercolor technique as an experimental material.

For an artist, the main thing is an idea. A thought and a feeling.

Julia is looking for a form that does not hold the thought in the grip, which would help to force the viewer to experience the excitement and emotion, impressed by what they saw.

Julia believes every person’s vision of the world forms during childhood. From interrelation, communication with nature, a mother’s love, and conversations with their father.

All of these moments are episodes of childhood that stretch throughout our entire life until death.

The fact that we look, listen, read, and absorb into ourselves intuitively comes out & expressed through creativity.

Julia helps in the work of music and poetry. Her paintings in the most part cause sadness, a state of rest, and a desire to enter the painting.

Her work is spiritual, sensual and philosophical.

It is amazing to see what can delight, surprise, or make one laugh or cry; effect the soul.

Painting “Mirror” | Oil on Canvas | Height: 62.9″; Width: 47.2″

Mirror

The work was inspired under impression of music by Johann Sebastian Bach.

A sense of flying, voyage, experiencing the desire to bring the soul into the higher, spiritual world.

The search for spiritual beginning, the absence of the earthly is why the scene behind the main subject, which is a temple in the background.

The temple is what we have deep inside extending far down from the top of our spiritual impulses.

Feelings of the quality of being thankful, a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction, and looking back at something.

Understanding that everything that we live for is tolerant, forgiving, and having the desire to go there.

In our life, we strive for perfection.

The central figure is the result, maturity, a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint, and the state of taking pleasure from something in the present.

Painting “Silence” | Oil on Canvas | Height: 31.4″; Width: 39.3″

Silence

The painting was painted after her father’s death, and is devoted to Julia’s father.

He is a man in a bird, spiritual significance, a totem.

A man sits enjoying the sunset, thinking about life – gone by in time and no longer existing in the present, or likely to happen in the future.

There, beyond the horizon is the sea, which the earth’s surface and the sky appear to meet, unexplored, extending far down from the top or surface, wanting to experience a spacious, different life.

Here is a calm and complete absence of sound, to the further side of the horizon is something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain.

“I would like to sail to the sea and not return”, – at the time when he was still in good health, these words seemed not able to be understood.

Even disturbing the state of being awake and aware of surroundings.

Only now we clearly realize that this would be a conception of what is a perfect death for him.

Painting “Apple orchard” | Oil | Height: 51.8″; Width: 62.9″

Apple orchard

When relatives leave, there is something remembered from the past. A recollection.

It can be anything. An instrument which he worked with, shoes in which he walked, a small, smooth stone which lay in his pocket or a garden where he planted.

Everything is filled with love. An intense feeling of deep affection which the soul thrives on.

Memory breathes, remaining for many years. Causing sadness, a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, a feeling of worry and appeasement.

It remains for us. Recent work is linked by a chain of events and Reflection. The picture “Apple Garden” summed up the line.

For Julia Weyss a main road is not a suggestion. It is an idea or opinion produced by thinking, or occurring suddenly in her mind.

Carrying a thought of an imagined event or situation is what drives her to expressing a desire with her paintings.
