Quotes have been an important part of the creative process for centuries. From ancient advice from Socrates to modern-day comic book superheroes, quotes for artists have been a source of inspiration, motivation and encouragement. As a writer, I personally find quotes to be helpful in the writing process as well – they can stimulate new ideas or offer insight into a topic that I might not have considered.

A creative person wants to do something that somebody, somewhere doesn’t want done. This is what gets them out of bed in the morning. The energy and frustration they feel when they can’t do it drives them nuts and leads them to think up new ways to do it. It’s not that they’re so great; it’s just that everybody else is too scared.
3. I’m not painting for an abstract idea or for a type of person
Abstract art is about the personal vision of the artist and that person’s idea. This can make it difficult for people who have never been an artist to understand and appreciate it. I am painting for myself not for an abstract idea or a type of person.

This is not true. When you are thirty, all your friends are no longer waiting for you to come back; they are out there doing things, and so should you.
