This tutorial breaks down the human head into 6 simple steps that are easy to follow and understand.

The 5 steps are as follows:

1) start with a circle

2) pull section A away from the circle on both sides

3) draw a line from point B to point F on both sides of the head

4) Draw an oval for the eye socket, about 2 inches across and 1 inch down from point C and D

5) Draw a line from Point E back to Point F on both sides of the head, this will divide the head in half. The first side of the line should be straight while the second side has a curved top. This creates 2 shapes- one is

We know how to draw the human head as a ball, so what’s next? Well, we want to draw the body. How do you draw something that is not in front of us that we can’t see? As long as it has some dimension and is not flat, you can use whatever materials are available to help make your drawing. To get started with this step, find whatever object you are using (a pencil or crayon will work) and trace it on a sheet of paper.
